Mise en Scene Inspiration

I have been walking around the area I live looking for inspiration of places I can use when I come to filming. As I am restricted in how far I can travel for location shoots I thought it would be useful to look in areas that are within walking distance from my house.


During this walk I was looking for places that include a natural frame, this image here is an excellent area fort that as the way the trees grow create a natural frame which my partner and I could use for shooting part of our video.

At the beginning of the Ellie Goulding song I have chosen 'Lost and Found' there is a great deal of mention of countryside 'Gotta love this field and the cherry sky, under blossom cloud though its late July'. I believe this location is also a great choice to match the lyrics at the beginning of the song, as the over grown edges and windmill truly show how country this area is.
