Brief-
A promotion package for the release of an album, to include a music promo video, together with two of the following three options:- a website homepage for the band;
- a digipak for the album;
- a magazine advertisement for the digipak.
Response to brief-
My initial thought after reading this brief is excitement for all the new information I will need to learn. I am nervous for this too as I feel it will be a challenging process however learning how to film with camera's to create the right shot types, correct mise en scene and using editing techniques in order to create the best possible promo video I can. As I am going to be creating a digipak I will be to apply knowledge I already have in order to create synergy across my products.
Relating to skills I have worries about using a programme new to me called Final Cut Pro, I will be using this in order to edit the music video. However I will also be using Adobe elements 11 which I have learned to use during my AS course and enjoyed using in order to create a music magazine, I am hoping to be able to develop my skills and learn new things.
